Ken Barnes and his son Alex from Indiana came to New Orleans to fish with Papa Joe for three days. Well we managed to get in two of those days prior to the bad weather getting here also. Day one was absolutely fabulous, it could not have been more perfect. It was a little cold but being from Indiana this time of year, it didn't phase them. We caught and released over 60 redfish. Day two, it warned up, but the damage had already been done. We only caught ten fish, with strong winds and muddy water it was a tough day, but we hung in there and kept a few to eat at Jan's Cajun Restaurant. Now that's a great meal, and we left very full. Day three canceled due to bad weather. Ken and Alex are accomplished fishermen and it was certainly a pleasure fishing with them. Here are a few pictures, as you can see the jackets are on for Monday and off for Tuesday. Thanks guys, I hope to fish with you again soon.
